Whether you are still in a combat zone or have returned home, Family of a Vet is here to
serve you and your family.  First, and foremost, thank you for your service.  If you are
already "home", we are here to encourage you and help you navigate your return to
"civilian" life.  If you are still serving in Iraq or Afghanistan, our thoughts are with you and
we are praying for your safe return.

Family of a Vet is dedicated to helping you, your family, and your loved ones adjust to life
after combat.  Whether staying in the military, transitioning out, or already separated, our
entire staff is experienced in helping you navigate the trail you now find yourself on.  At
Family of a Vet, there is no judgment.  We help all veterans regardless of their situations
when they return home.  There are no “qualifications” for us to assist you.  You are not
required to be diagnosed with PTSD, TBI, or be wounded to receive assistance from our

Family of a Vet’s main purpose is to educate the veteran, their family, their loved ones, and
the American public about what life with a veteran is like.  We do our best to provide coping
skills and a place for people to find real advice from people who have walked the path they
are currently traveling.  All staff members here are experienced in veteran’s affairs and live
with or are a veteran themselves.  We understand what you and your family are going
through and it is our true desire to help you navigate your new world.

Part of our mission is also serving as passionate advocates on a local, state, and national
level for veterans and their families.  Veteran’s issues are often swept under the carpet in
favor of legislations deemed more “worthy” by those who are not living this lifestyle.  If you
would like to help us on our current fight for Veteran’s rights, please hop over to our
Congressional Survey so you can tell Congress exactly what you think about life as a
Veteran and what they can do to help you.
“I think there is one office higher than president and I would call that patriot.” Gary Hart
Don't forget to take our Congressional Survey!
As little as 10 minutes of your time can help us make a difference in your life!!
